It seems like the UK dishes out quality sportsbooks as easily as they dish out a parcel of fish & chips. Coral sportsbook is yet another phenomenal sportsbook to come out of the UK. Coral originally a subsidiary of the Eurobet group was acquired by private equity firm Candover Investments, the name Eurobet was dropped resulting in Coral Eurobet becoming known, as the now popular Coral sportsbook . The acquisition could not have worked out better for Candover Investments, since Coral sportsbook grew into the 3rd largest sportsbook in the UK, raking up a whopping annual revenue well in excess of £1.5 Billion in 2014.
Considering all the competition and quality online sportsbooks / bookmakers in the UK, claiming the official title of 3rd largest sportsbook in the UK is a feat nothing short of summiting Mount Everest. Needless to say Coral, being the 3rd largest sportsbook, in the UK must do something special. Here follows rugby bettings, in depth Coral sportsbook review.
Coral sportsbook Review what we Like
- Betting Platform Redesign – Coral sportsbook recently redesigned their online betting platform, and rightfully so we may add. The refurbished Coral sportsbook, betting platform ranks amongst the best betting platforms in the business. Its right up there with betting platforms we have praised in the past such as BetVictor and Ladbrokes. Needless to say a good betting platform is one of the key components of a good online sportsbook, and Coral sportsbook certainly has a good betting platform.
- Large Selection Of Sports & Markets – Although most respectable sportsbooks offer a large selection of sports to bet on, Coral sportsbook takes it to a whole new level. Coral pretty much covers every sport, with all leagues covered including a wide selection of markets to bet on. For rugby betting, Coral sportsbook is the go to sportsbook covering every rugby match in every league. From the Currie Cup in South Africa to the ITM cup in New Zealand, which is domestic rugby tournaments, not always covered by other bookmakers.
- Large Selection OF Deposit Options – Don’t have a Visa or Mastercard, or want to keep your gambling activity confidential from your Credit Card statements? No problem!
Coral sportsbook possibly offers the largest selection of deposit options off all bookmakers, with only a £5 deposit limit and no maximum deposit or withdrawal thresholds. Which is great compared to other leading sportsbooks like Williamhill which only limits you to a £20 maximum deposit if you don’t use a Visa or Mastercard.
Coral sportsbook Review what we DO NOT likeLimited Live Streaming Events –
Limited Streaming – While Coral sportsbook did incorporate a live streaming feature with their betting platform redesign. Currently Coral sportsbook offers live streaming on minor rugby and football tournaments, amongst other sports. However it falls well short in terms of live streaming events offered by major sportsbooks like Bet365 . If you do a comparison Coral sportsbook currently streams approximately 5000 live events per year, which falls well short to Bet365 which streams up to 20’000 live sporting events per year. Apart from limited coverage we have also received reports that the live stream player, lags at times and the quality of the stream falls well short to other major bookies which offers live streaming.
- Signup Bonus – While the crew at rugby betting will never complain about “free money” when opening an account, the signup bonus, offered by Coral sportsbook is rather limited compared to other sportsbooks. If you open an account with Coral and deposit a fiver they will give you £20 free. While this is not bad it falls a bit short to sportsbooks like 888casino which offers a 100% matching signup bonus upto $200.
Coral sportsbook is currently the 3rd largest sportsbook in the UK, and there’s a reason for that. They are a superb sportsbook offering betting options on almost all sports and markets imaginable with a solid betting platform. All and all Coral is definitely recomend as a go to sportsbook especially for rugby punters.
However if you are looking for a sportsbook that offers comprehensive live streaming, and large signup bonuses than Coral might not be for you.
We rate Coral at a score of 4.5 out of 5 the only reason they fall short of 5-stars in because of their limited streaming options, than again if you have a TV and a cable connection this should not be a problem for you. All and all Coral is one of the best.
